Convert HEIC to JPG

iPhone photos save as HEIC, a format most Windows apps, websites, and older devices cannot open. This free tool converts HEIC and HEIF photos to universally-viewable JPGs entirely in your browser — nothing is ever uploaded to a server, so your photos stay private. Drop in as many files as you like and download them individually, no signup or watermark required.

A free alternative to CloudConvert, iMazing HEIC Converter — no signup, no upload, no watermark, and no daily limit. It runs entirely in your browser, so it’s private and instant, and it stays free.

How to use it

  1. Drag and drop your HEIC or HEIF photos, or tap to select them from your device.
  2. Adjust the JPG quality slider if you want a smaller file size (default 90 keeps photos sharp).
  3. Click “Convert to JPG” and let your browser do the work — no files are sent anywhere.
  4. Download each converted JPG individually with one click.

FAQ

Is my photo uploaded to a server?
No. Conversion happens entirely inside your browser using WebAssembly — your HEIC files never leave your device.
Why do my iPhone photos save as HEIC in the first place?
Apple uses HEIC/HEIF by default because it stores high-quality photos in a smaller file size than JPG. Most non-Apple apps and older software do not support it, so converting to JPG makes your photos openable everywhere.
Will converting to JPG reduce photo quality?
JPG is a lossy format, so there is some quality trade-off, but at the default 90% quality the difference is barely visible. Use the slider to balance quality against file size.
